Campaign Goals

The following are some far-reaching goals for our Grecian GURPS campaign. They are designed to be large objectives that can be accomplished a little piece at a time over the course of numerous adventures. Primarily, they are designed to give our campaign a sence of harmony and unity. Secondarily, these can help give gamemasters ideas for adventures. Thirdly, players may refer to these to get ideas for making new characters.

It is not required (or expected) that all (or any) of these goals be accomplished completely (or at all), nor are GMs required to make adventures that include one of these goals (but they are encouraged to do so), nor are players required to make characters with ambitions to accomplish these goals (but it would be nice).

Build Up the City-State

The PCs are influential figures in a small city-state that is growing and hopes to achieve greatness. This has been dubbed "the Sim City theme". Some possible milestones might include:

Bring the First Olympics to Pass

The PCs have a vision of creating a grand sporting event that athletes from miles around will come to participate in. This is not as easy as it sounds! Among other things, you might have to:

Find Atlantis

You want to find the city of Atlantis. Is it sunk under the sea, or is it thriving on a distant island somewhere? What marvelous magics or technology have they discovered? How will you learn of it's whereabouts?
